BATM awarded new Edgility contract from Cemex New contract extends licence agreement by two years and expands service provision BATM (LSE: BVC; TASE: BVC), a leading provider of real-time technologies for networking solutions and medical laboratory systems, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a further contract from Cemex, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: CX), a leading global building materials company, for the Group’s Edgility edge computing and virtual networking solution. This follows the successful rollout of Edgility to Cemex sites across Europe and Central and South America, with more than 1,200 end points already deployed. The contract extends and expands the original agreement that was entered into in 2021, when Edgility was selected as the virtualised operating and management system for Cemex´s new communications network. The deployment of Edgility to Cemex’s thousands of locations worldwide is on track to complete during the current year. This latest contract extends the original five-year licence agreement by a further two years and includes additional service provision to support the deployment.
